Editor's Note, 10 October 2026: New review, from the field notes Ryan Williams and John Pulham submitted on 31 August 2026.

The EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max ran a full-size kitchen fridge for more than 14 hours for our testers, and it is safe to run indoors next to the bed. It scores 87 out of 100 and ranks #4 in our best camping generators guide as our best power station for RVs.

Bottom Line : The premium battery for heavy RV use, with the fastest charging here, but it needs warmth to charge and its casing scratches easily.

  • Runs 1800W microwaves and hair dryers
  • 0 to 80 percent from the wall in about 50 minutes
  • Charge rate can be dialled down for weak campsite hook-ups
  • Most advanced app and ecosystem

Cons

  • Screen flashes all night with a cycling fridge
  • Won't charge until its cells warm up after a freezing night
  • Casing scratches easily
  • Heavy

In the Field

Ryan and John used the DELTA 2 Max as indoor emergency backup in a bedroom and in a campervan. It ran a ResMed CPAP, a full-size kitchen fridge, a laptop workstation, a 1,500 W hair dryer and a TV.

It is silent at light loads; the cooling fans only spin up above about 1,000 W. On a full-size fridge alone it ran for more than 14 hours.

From a wall outlet it went from empty to 80% in about 70 minutes. With no fuel, no maintenance and no carbon monoxide, it is the kind of backup you can keep in the bedroom.

Where It Asks Something of You

Under heavy draw the cooling fans are noticeably loud, so a hair dryer or kettle is not a quiet job.

It is a heavy box to carry, which is why it scores low on portability in our camping guide.

Spec Sheet vs Our Test

80% in 43 minutes with solar plus AC. EcoFlow quotes 80% in 43 minutes when solar and AC charge together. Our testers charged from the wall alone and saw about 70 minutes to 80%, which is still fast.

Power 99% of household devices, 2,400 W. EcoFlow rates it at 2,400 W continuous. It ran a 1,500 W hair dryer and a full-size fridge in our test.

Quiet, starting from 30 dB. True at light loads, where it was silent. Above about 1,000 W the fans get noticeably loud.

3,000 cycles to 80%. EcoFlow claims 3,000 cycles before the LiFePO4 battery drops to 80%. That is a maker figure no short test can confirm, but it is the chemistry you want for daily backup.

Should You Buy the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max Power Station?

Buy it if you want silent, fume-free backup you can run indoors, and the capacity to keep a full-size fridge going overnight and beyond.

Skip it if you carry your power a lot: it is heavy. For lighter camping power, the Jackery 1000 Plus in the same guide is simpler and smaller.
