In the Field
Ryan took these straight to the Saudan Couloir, a famously steep double-black run. The two metal sheets make it a bulldozer, and the added tail rocker on the new 99 made it much easier to skid sideways and scrub speed in the chute than the old 100.
The Trade-Off
Even with the new tail they are exhausting. Tom took them into a mogul field and was begging to swap by the bottom. Without clean technique, they are hard work in bumps.
