What We Found
The Y-Beam puts metal over the front edges but takes it out of the tail. Ryan blasted through the heavy crud in Symphony Bowl and found that, unlike the Enforcer, the K2 breaks into a slide easily when you need to dodge a sudden tree.
The Compromise
Lighter testers like Amy found them slow to go edge to edge on firm groomers because of their weight.

Best for: strong skiers who charge but need to bail into a slide.
