Our Analysis Comparisons and Test Results

We brought the Trekology Chair YIZI GO (with our other Top 10) along for our TopNotch field testing trip to the Glacier National Park (East Side) in Montana - it was super lightweight and convenient to use.

Now:

Weighing just 34 ounces, this chair is small enough to use on any trip, including several day-long backpacking trips.

Though it doesn’t give as big a seat as the Travel Chair Joey, it’s still a comfortable chair because of the enhanced loop design.

This small but mighty hiking stool has a cutting edge design that won’t cut into your back or shoulders.

We also love the carrying bag it comes in which is made of durable 600D polyester and attaches to the chair (so you won’t lose it).

Value For Money

Many people praise the Trekology Chair for its very reasonable price, and we join them.

If you’re on a tight budget it’s a great option…

And the best bit?

...you won’t have to worry about sacrificing quality for savings.

So it’s a great choice.

Keep in mind:

It comes with a 14-inch storage bag, has a side pocket, and is made of durable materials

Its lightweight and small size makes it comparable to the Helinox Chair Zero but at a much more reasonable price.

Comfort

Although the Trekology Chair is on the small side, it still has an amazing level of comfort

You can adjust the height with the click of a button, so it’s a perfect hiking stool for people of all shapes and sizes.

What’s more:

We love the deep seat design of the Trekology chair which allows for great lower back support.

So, this backpacking seat is especially good for those with “bad backs.”

If you’re looking for a chair that’ll help you relax on any outdoor occasion, the Trekology YIZI GO portable camping chair is a great option

Packed Size

This bottle sized portable chair can be taken on virtually any outdoor trip, be it kayaking on the river in the Glacier National Park (heck is that place beautiful) or attending a sporting gig.

As we mentioned, the carrying bag that comes with the Trekology Chair isn’t only convenient but also durable.

Just like the seat fabric, it’s made out of sturdy engineering-grade 600D polyester material.

Also, the legs of the Trekology Chair YIZI GO wrap up with the help of a velcro strap which keeps everything neatly together.

Durability

As you know:

The YIZI GO is perfect for those on a small budget looking for a versatile portable seat

However, it lost some points with us as the fabric is made out of 600D polyester instead of ripstop nylon like the Travel Chair Joey.

That being said, we still found the material ideal and the unique V-shaped stitch design sturdy when we tested it on our camping trip on the east side of the Glacier National Park in Montana.

Also, the breathable mesh of the seat fabric kept us cool through those hot summer days.

Overall, we found this chair quite durable, especially with its high weight capacity.

This is one of the reasons it won our TopNotch Top-Notch Choice Award, as it can hold up to 300 lbs!

We should also mention that the seat fabric is machine- washable - making it easy to clean and rescuable even when its been through the roughest terrain.

Versatility

The Trekology Chair is easy to assemble, so you can set it up quickly in any outdoor setting - at sporting gigs, on a backpacking trip, or kayaking through the rivers in Montana!

After a long day of exploring, we looked forward to popping our YIZI Go up and taking a rest.

Our team found it took anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute to set up which is pretty impressive.

How it works:

  1. Open the zipper of the carrying bag
  2. Open the velcro strap which keeps the two pieces together
  3. Take each piece of the frame out separately and let it slide into place
  4. Arrange it so the small rubber feet sit on the ground
  5. Slide the stool’s fabric over the metal bars

And voila!

You’re ready to rest in your TopNotch Trekology Chair YIZI GO.

We found the chair’s height went perfectly with the Trekology Folding Camping Picnic Table for playing card games with the team.

Our Final Verdict: Trekology Chair YIZI GO

We love the affordable, versatile Trekology Chair YIZI GO

Although other chairs might have a taller and broader seat, this small folding camping chair

is ideal for families and individuals alike

Since it’s price is right, you can even get multiple chairs for your kids and friends.

We also love that it’s so light at only 34 ounces yet has an impressive weight capacity of 300 lbs.

Also, it’s a very convenient backpacking seat because of its great portability - it’s easy to transport and carry.
